DENTON, Texas (AP) — Jason Bean accounted for 2 touchdowns to guide North Texas to a 27-17 victory towards Rice on Saturday.
Bean broke free for a 66-yard landing run and tossed a 25-yard landing cross to Jaelon Darden within the second quarter to provide the Imply Inexperienced a 14-10 halftime lead. DeAndre Torrey had 102 yards dashing on 19 carries, and his 1-yard TD run capped the scoring for North Texas (3-3, 2-2 Convention USA) halfway by means of the fourth quarter.
