Blues signal ahead Clifford to 2-year, $2 million contract


ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Blues signed free agent ahead Kyle Clifford to a two-year, $2 million contract Sunday.

Clifford was a two-time Stanley Cup-winner in spending his first nine-plus seasons with the Los Angeles Kings, earlier than being traded to Toronto in February.

Chosen by L.A. within the second spherical of the 2009 draft, Clifford is predicted to fill a secondary ahead position in St. Louis. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 211 kilos, he had seven targets and 17 factors in 69 video games final season.

Total, he has 61 targets and 71 assists for 132 factors in 676 NHL video games.
