ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Chris Taylor wasn’t within the Los Angeles Dodgers beginning lineup for Sport 6 of the Nationwide League Championship Collection towards the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, a day after injuring his proper ankle.
Supervisor Dave Roberts stated Taylor was shifting round and feeling higher than anticipated. Roberts indicated the versatile participant could possibly be out there to play if wanted with the Dodgers going through potential elimination once more.
Kiké Hernández began at second base for the Dodgers towards Braves left-hander Max Fried. AJ Pollock was in left discipline.
Atlanta, making an attempt to get to its first World Collection since 1999, had its similar lineup as Sport 5 to face Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler.
Taylor injured his proper ankle on a throw from the left discipline line within the eighth inning of Friday evening. Taylor completed the sport.
It was solely the second time this postseason that Taylor didn’t begin for the Dodgers. He has began seven instances at second base, and Sport 5 of the NLCS was the fifth time in these video games that he had a midgame swap to left. His different two begins in these playoffs got here in left discipline.
