BOYS BASKETBALL

Adam Drummond hit two free throws with three seconds left to present Bishop Feehan (9-1) a 64-63 win over St. Mary’s within the Catholic Central Massive. … Thomas Skeffington collected 14 factors and 18 boards as Austin Prep took down Arlington Catholic, 61-41.

Joson Sanon scored 26 factors as Durfee improved to 5-1 with a 69-63 win over Dartmouth within the Southeast Convention.

Liam Cunnie had 24 factors, whereas Will Grudinskas and James Appleton chipped in with 11 apiece as Cohasset (2-1) defeated Cardinal Spellman, 66-40, in a nonleague contest.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Ashley Dinges had her second double-double with 10 rebounds and 15 factors, whereas Adriana Niles had 18 factors and eight rebounds as Central Catholic (5-0) defeated Tewksbury, 51-38, within the Merrimack Valley Convention.

Olivia Gourdine scored 22 factors as Barnstable coasted to a 67-35 win over Nantucket within the Cape and Islands League.

Mackenzie Carreiro had 18 factors and 16 rebounds, whereas Camryn Lewis had 18 factors, 10 rebounds and 6 steals as Durfee defeated Dartmouth, 60-41, within the Southeast Convention.

Olivia Discovered had 12 factors and 6 steals as Bishop Fenwick coasted to a 53-32 win over Archbishop Williams within the Catholic Central League.

Emily Flynn completed with 23 factors, serving to to present head coach Brian Fisher his two hundredth teaching victory as Hanover defeated Scituate, 52-25, within the Patriot League.

Sophomore Colleen Fogarty drained 13 factors, as Fontbonne used a 26-2 first quarter run en path to knocking off Matignon, 64-23, in a nonleague contest.

BOYS HOCKEY

Jake Mastrangelo had three objectives and two assists as Marshfield dealt with Whitman-Hanson, 7-2, within the Patriot League.

Falmouth and Sandwich performed to a 1-1 tie within the Cape and Islands League. Max MacDonald scored for Falmouth, whereas Colin McIver tallied for Sandwich.

CLASS NOTES

Longtime boys tennis coach Doug Chapman of Somerset Berkley was considered one of 23 highschool coaches from throughout the nation chosen as 2020 Nationwide Coaches of the Yr by the Nationwide Federation of State Excessive Faculty Associations (NFHS) Coaches Affiliation.

St. John’s Prep Energy and Conditioning Coordinator Billy McSheffrey has been named the 2021 Massachusetts Coach of the Yr by the Nationwide Excessive Faculty Energy Coaches Affiliation (NHSSCA). The annual honor acknowledges a scholastic energy and conditioning coach for achievements within the area and fervour for the career. State Coach Of The Yr winners are chosen by their friends throughout the Commonwealth.
