BATON ROUGE – A fleeing driver was shot and wounded by a Baton Rouge Police officer throughout a chase after 12 a.m. Saturday.
The altercation occurred close to Plank Street and Scenic Freeway.

The wounded suspect was taken to the hospital and is predicted to outlive, authorities stated. The suspect was not recognized.
